Company’s Chief Data Scientist Will Join Panel on Overcoming Healthcare Data Challenges

LOUISVILLE, Ky., November 2, 2021 – Certilytics, Inc. today announced it will showcase its predictive analytics solutions – including an innovative AI model to predict and quantify SDoH-related risk – at Booth #101 during the upcoming TAHP Texas Covered Health Care Conference + Expo.

Texas Covered will be held November 8-10 in Austin. Certilytics Chief Data Scientist Robert Dwyer will be featured on the panel Big Data, Big Problems, Big Promises: A Road Map for Addressing Data Challenges in Healthcare on November 9. The full conference agenda is available here.

Andrew Ottum, Certilytics’ Chief Business Development & Client Deployment Officer, noted that Texas’ scale and continued growth energize the conversation around solving healthcare’s pressing challenges.

“Given the state’s significant urban and rural populations and its growing roster of large employers, Texas health plans have a unique opportunity to advance innovative population health management strategies and bend the healthcare cost curve,” Ottum said. “We’re excited to share how we’re helping organizations achieve their transformational objectives – from reining in specialty drug spending to driving STARS/HEDIS improvements to predicting clinical and financial risk in time to take action.”

Ottum added that with SDoH increasingly top of mind for all healthcare stakeholders, Certilytics’ team is also looking forward to demonstrating the company’s innovative AI model for predicting SDoH-related risks.

“Our model enables health plans to test hypotheses at the member and population levels before they implement new programs or partnerships,” he said. “Now our clients can accelerate their efforts to advance health equity, boost member engagement, and improve population health & well-being – and guard against investing in programs or partnerships that ultimately aren’t the right fit for their membership.”

Texas Covered attendees are invited to book a meeting with Certilytics’ team of experts in advance of the conference. Attendees who schedule a meeting ahead of time will be entered into a drawing for an Apple Watch as well as other prizes.
